Gilding Wax is an easy, yet elegant, way to add a touch of beauty, shimmer and sheen to your painted projects. You can apply Gilding Wax with your finger, cloth, sponge or brush, and use in a well ventilated area. Lightly buff after 12 hours to produce a beautiful gilded finish.
If the lid is left off and material becomes dry, add a little paint thinner or mineral spirits and mix.
Each colour comes in a 30 ml container.
Gilding Waxes
Dixie Belle is a US-based, non-toxic chalk mineral paint with a choice of 69 beautiful colours to suit all of your needs. The paints contain no VOC's and are easy to use as they require no priming, top coat or wax - everything you need is in the pot!
An 8 oz pot covers 3.5 sq m, a 16 oz pot covers double this - the majority of projects will require one or two coats for full coverage. Dixie Belle Paint is a thick paint that goes a long way. Occasionally you will see brushstrokes whilst painting, but these will disappear as the paint dries as Dixie Belle is a self leveling paint.
There is a 30 day curing period for the paints, but if you require something more hardwearing, consider using one of the Dixie Belle sealer products that we stock such as Gator Hide, Clear Coat or the Easy Peasy Wax - message us for more help in deciding what would be the best product to meet your desired finish!
We hope that your purchase arrives in perfect condition, but we appreciate that this is not always the case. We offer a 14 day refund policy, that becomes effective upon the day we dispatch the product. After this time, unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.
REFUNDS: If you wish to return your item(s), please notify us within the 14 day refund period. For an eligible return, your item must be in the original packaging (including all seals still applied for paint). It must remain unused and the same condition as you received it. We will provide a refund as soon as we receive your returned product(s), but may take up to 10 working days for the funds to appear on your bank statement (depending on your card issuer).
Once our checks are complete we’ll refund back to your payment method. The funds should appear on your bank statement in up to 7 working days (how long depends on your card issuer).
DAMAGES: If your item(s) arrive damaged, please notify us within 3 days of receiving your order. In order to do this, please email us at littleshabbyhen@btinternet.com, providing images of the damage and any further details. Once we receive your product(s) and our checks are complete, we will offer to either send a replacement or provide a full refund. The funds may take up to 10 working days to appear on your bank statement.
